Acceptable Use Policy

To keep LeanVoice safe and lawful — and to honour the license of the model weights we build on — you agree not to use the service for the following. These restrictions pass through from the BigScience Open RAIL-M license and apply to any output you generate.

Prohibited uses

• Violating any applicable law, or facilitating illegal or harmful activity.
• Generating a person's voice or impersonating any individual or organisation without their explicit consent, or in a way intended to deceive.
• Creating audio that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination against individuals or groups.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, social-engineering, or spreading disinformation or content designed to mislead about its synthetic origin where disclosure is required.
• Generating sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or harms children.
• Producing medical, legal, or financial advice presented as human or authoritative without appropriate disclosure and qualification.
• Circumventing usage limits, security controls, or attempting to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying model.

Disclosure of synthetic audio

Where your use could reasonably mislead listeners into believing the audio is a recording of a real person, you must clearly disclose that the audio is AI-generated.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access. Serious or illegal misuse may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
